When I was a kid in Arizona I’d burn pine incense to conjure Maine and heal my homesickness. Now I’m happily ensconced in Maine and what do I do on this rainy Sunday? Burn piñon incense and feel homesick for the southwest. I’m starting to think we carry homesickness with us wherever we go.
