Humbled at the mailbox: Today, I received this “small token” of appreciation from @dfwfiberfest for my keynote in April. It was hand-turned in Texas mesquite by the woodworker husband of a board member, and it came in a pen box padded with wool. To me, this will always embody the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity that still exist in this world. Thank you, dear people of @dfwfiberfest. I will cherish this pen forever. ❤️
