This is the sixth time I’ve been lucky enough to have a book birthday. You’d think by now I’d be cool as a cucumber about it, but I’m not. I’m the same jumble of butterflies I was in 2007 as the Knitter’s Book of Yarn entered the world. Will people like it? Will I ever be allowed to write another book? And more pressing as I start my tour: Will anyone come to the readings? So let me just say, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me do what I love all these years.
