What brings me to Texas, you ask? Only the largest sheep conference in the United States. This year’s @sheepusa conference draws 500 people – ranchers, scientists, manufacturers, researchers, professors, buyers, brokers, testers, lobbyists, and even humble authors-slash-yarn-makers from Maine. Tomorrow morning is the wool roundtable and policy forum, and I’m so excited I may not even be able to sleep. This is wool geekery to the extreme, and I’m just so grateful to be here.
