This morning I was just about to comment on the feed of an Important Person whose spouse I vaguely know, when a voice in my head said, “What are you doing? This guy doesn’t give one crap about you.” Suddenly my nice words looked sad, or desperate, or maybe just out of place, like a forlorn yell into an abyss. I deleted them. Mind you I have no idea what this person really thinks, but I didn’t like how the thought made me feel. And it made me want to rush right over here to state, unequivocally, that I DO care about you. Even if we’ve never met in person. I’m not here just to collect clicks or for ego gratification.
