Snow day! I cast on @mairlynd’s Drachenfels nearly (gasp) two years ago. I carried it to Edinburgh and London and Squam and San Francisco and Vancouver and everywhere in between. I think it took its sweet time getting done just because we were having so much fun together. But today was its maiden voyage as a finished garment, and the layers of dense crisp strong Shetland kept me warm and dry and extraordinarily happy. (The hat was designed and knit from Cormo 3.0 by the big-hearted @dyegirlknits.)
