I was craving raisin biscuits to go with a cup of tea. These aren’t the Sunshine biscuits of yore, nor are they Garibaldis, but they’ll definitely do. (I used @ruhlman’s 3-2-1 pie dough with a touch of sugar, plus chopped raisins, an egg wash, and demerara sugar. If you’re nervous, @kingarthurflour also has a recipe.)
