The last time I came to @churchmouseyarns was for Knitlandia, and there was zero time to spare. Yet they still carved out 10 minutes for me to visit this place, and I vowed to return. It is a temple to the handwritten word, where fountain pens are presented not as novelties or museum pieces but as carefully considered tools to be used and loved every day. These are the tools of my trade, as I begin everything in longhand. Standing there trying out each pen, running it through my paces, I had a flashback to watching my father try out English horns in a Paris workshop years ago. Different decade, same wonderful feeling.
