Just a few highlights from a day that went by far too quickly, from a weekend that passed in a blink. The weather was unseasonably hot and the leaves had only begun to turn. The lines were outrageous, the crowds borderline insanity at times. I made new friends, got to hug old ones, heard thrilling gossip, put my Jill Hancock inside many a book, laughed until my stomach hurt, and even managed three hours on the fairgrounds as a yarn-loving civilian. My heart is full. (And not just from the cider donuts.)
