It was light when I started transcribing my notes from Texas, and now it’s growing dark. But already I can tell you:
– The rumors are true: The iconic Navy pea coat is being phased out as standard issue. It’ll be replaced by a synthetic parka.
– On the east coast they’re called (sheep) farms. On the west coast, ranches. Do not confuse the two. When in doubt, just call them “producers.”
– And finally, my new favorite marketing pitch: “Wool is not new…it’s just clever.” Can I get an amen?
