Remember the other day when I posted about him being blissfully ignorant of the world outside that window? Well, it turns out he was losing his eyesight. (Sudden-onset hypertension caused a retina detachment, which apparently can happen with kidney cats.) But thanks to whiskers and smell and touch, sweet little deaf and now blind Casey is trying his best to figure this new world out. As are we. I asked for advice about this in my IG story today, and the outpouring of love and helpful tips has been so, so reassuring. From the bottom of our collective hearts, thank you.
