So, yesterday’s #yarnlovechallenge was “process,” which I had to sit on for a while. And then I finally realized that mulling and taking my time IS part of my process. If you need proof, look no further than this beautiful hat, a hat that I could finish in a few hours, a hat I posted here all too recently with the smug suggestion I’d get it done in time to shovel the car. Well, I didn’t. Sometimes I sit on things, for a variety of reasons ranging from hand preservation and delayed gratification to uncertainty or because of a gentle reminder that I was on deadline and shouldn’t be knitting a hat.
