Scenes from a very full day. Now comes the task of deciphering 13 pages of scribbled notes in teeny tiny handwriting because I’m super private and don’t like the people around me to see what I’m writing.

This being an industry conference way, waaaay upstream from our knitting world, lots of things went over my head. But in terms of using social media to educate and excite consumers about the beauty and value of wool whose story is intact, we’re the ones leading the way.

But my personal high point? Meeting the man who developed “mercerized” wool and having him explain what the heck that process is and how it differs from superwash. And that alone was worth the price of admission.
