Honeststagram: My mother asked for gingerbread for her birthday, so gingerbread I made her. I pulled it out at the designated time, toothpick having come out clean, only to notice that the middle was jiggling like a waterbed in an earthquake. Back into the oven it went, but not before it sank just enough to leave this perfect square imprint. Instead of artfully cropping the shot to make you think stuff like this never happens to me, I present it in all its geometric glory. For the record, it was delicious, and she was happy.
